About the role

AdventHealth Medical Group, Rocky Mountain Region is seeking a Primary Care Physician for AdventHealth Medical Group. AdventHealth Medical Group is a sister organization of AdventHealth with over 600 Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in 27 individual service lines in Colorado. They have 5 hospitals, 8 freestanding emergency and urgent care centers, and 6 ambulatory surgery centers. This aligned model and practice management experience provide the opportunity for clinicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients in the Denver Metro Area. This includes conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, and managing chronic conditions. The position also involves working closely with a team of Advanced Practice Providers (APNs or PAs) and may require call coverage 1-2 times per year.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
• New Grads are Ok
• Excellent communication skills
• Team Player with patient-first mindset
• Current, unrestricted full license to practice medicine in Colorado
• Current Colorado DEA Licensure
• Ability to work with, supervise one Advanced practice provider (APN or PA)
• Monday-Friday 8-5 work schedule
• Call requirement 1 to 2 times per year
