Primary Care Physician

About the role

The role involves managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits, treating patients in-office or in testing centers, and occasionally conducting telehealth visits. You will also engage in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities, collaborate with in-office teammates via daily huddles, and supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs
• Conduct a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treat patients in-office or in testing centers and conduct occasional telehealth visits
• Engage in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities
• Collaborate with in-office teammates via daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
• Utilize specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures
• Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues

Requirements

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
• State licensed in Virginia, obtained before your One Medical start date

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $253,200 - $302,700 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
