Primary Care Physician
Job Summary
You will provide comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages, including preventative care, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, managing chronic conditions, and referring patients to specialists when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum primary care, including preventive care, acute illness treatment, and management of chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) for patients of all ages.
- Deliver wellness examinations, health screenings, and immunizations to support disease prevention.
- Counsel patients on diet, lifestyle choices, and disease management.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging.
- Offer guidance, counseling, and education on wellness, disease management, and medication adherence to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, utilizing EPIC appropriately.
- Provide and document direct treatment for patients, including ordering medications, referrals, and following up on specialist consultations.
- Participate in primary care division activities, including peer review programs, quality metric improvement, and policy development.

To be successful in your role, you will strategically deliver comprehensive primary healthcare to patients across all age groups, serving as their primary healthcare provider throughout their lifespan. You will demonstrate exceptional medical expertise in preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses, actively managing chronic conditions, and making appropriate specialist referrals, all while fostering patient well-being and promoting health across individuals and families.
