Job Summary
As our Family Medicine Physician, you will be a central and cornerstone provider in our physician-facing organization, delivering comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered medical care to individuals and families across all ages and stages of life. This vital role is critical in promoting long-term health, wellness, and managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions, profoundly impacting the health outcomes of our Kansas communities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, leveraging your expertise to accurately diagnose and expertly treat a wide array of medical conditions.
- Provide essential preventive care, guide patients through health maintenance strategies, and empower them with crucial patient education.
- Adeptly manage chronic diseases, perform minor procedures, and strategically coordinate care with specialists, all while diligently building lasting patient and family relationships.
- Meticulously document all encounters, communicate effectively with patients, and ensure strict adherence to evidence-based guidelines, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered medical care for individuals and families across all life stages, significantly impacting community health outcomes.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, diagnose and treat medical conditions, provide preventive care, manage chronic diseases, perform minor procedures, and coordinate specialist care.
- Build lasting patient relationships, meticulously document encounters, communicate effectively, and adhere to evidence-based guidelines and ethical standards.
Required Job Requirements
- Successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
- Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) registration.
- Obtain board certification or eligibility in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital.
- Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution.
- Doctorate MD or DO required.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required.
