Primary Care Physician
The Physician serves as a health-care provider handling various health-related problems. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
About the role
Focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Keeps a medical history and records. Refers patients to specialists. Influences department strategy. Exercises considerable latitude in setting goals and approaches to assignments. Reports to the Associate Medical Director. Works in Baton Rouge outpatient clinic. Subject to limited on-call coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical experience
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Prefers Internal Medicine specialty
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
- Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
- Willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone
Pay and Benefits
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Pay Range: $255,000 - $298,500 per year
Eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
