Primary Care Physician
The Physician serves as a health-care professional capable of handling a variety of health-related problems. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The role focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Responsibilities include maintaining medical histories and records, and referring patients to specialists as needed.
This role begins to influence department strategy and involves making decisions on moderately complex to complex technical issues with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches. It is considered patient-facing and part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, requiring TB screening if selected.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient medicine with a focus on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.
- Maintain medical histories and medical records.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Influence department strategy and make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues.
- Participate in limited on-call coverage by phone.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5 or more years of technical experience.
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university.
- Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Qualifications
- Internal Medicine specialty (preferred).
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
Pay
The starting base pay range for full-time employment (40 hours per week) is $255,000 - $298,500 per year. Pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
