How you’ll make an impact in this role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Primary Care Physician Assistant to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Elevate Patient-Centered Outcomes: Drive clinical excellence by managing a dedicated daily volume of 18–21 patients, utilizing evidence-based clinical decision-making to optimize health outcomes and maximize long-term patient satisfaction.
Collaborative Team Care: Partner seamlessly within an established care team structure consisting of 1 Physician and 1 Nurse Practitioner under a supportive supervising physician model.
Practice Environment: Deliver high-quality care in a 100% outpatient clinic setting equipped with a modern, web-based AthenaHealth EMR system.
Call Structure: Maintain an excellent work-life balance with minimal shared call responsibilities.
Network Integration: Collaborate with a robust regional network featuring over 50 Family Medicine and Internal Medicine colleagues alongside an extensive local roster of employed specialists.

About the Role
Ascension St. Vincent Wyntree delivers comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to the historic, family-oriented community of Newburgh. Supported by convenient nearby lab and imaging resources, providers deliver seamless local care. The clinic is backed by the expansive regional strength of our 375+ bed Level 2 Adult & Pediatric Trauma facility in nearby Evansville, serving a robust 30-county tri-state network encompassing a total population service area of over 910,000 residents.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the Indiana Physician Assistant Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Education Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.
- Work Experience 1 year of experience preferred.
