About the role

DePaul Community Health Centers in Louisiana and Arkansas, part of Ascension Community Health Ministries, is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to provide medical care and therapeutic management of acute and chronic illness in a clinic setting. DCHC is committed to improving the health status of our community and to continuing a long tradition of service in this market.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive in scope and includes the overall coordination of the patient’s health management, preventative or curative, whether physical, behavioral and sociological in nature.
• Works closely with in-house specialists and hospitals to deliver high-quality health care to the community.

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited University and pending/active State Medical Board license or Medical Board License Eligible.
• Board Certified / Board Eligible. Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana.
• Must have current state and federal DEA certification.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Florida Board of Medicine obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Board eligibility/certification in medical specialty required.Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
