Primary Care Nursing Manager
Clinic Operations Management
Oversees the clinical operations performance of primary care services by nursing and medical assisting staff, including specialty and chiropractic, at all clinic sites ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and patient care standards.
Develops and implements standardized operational workflows across sites to enhance efficiency, reduce variability, and improve patient access to primary care.
Collaborates with Operations Manager to ensure Front Office, Medical Assistants, and RNs are aligned in team-based care practices to support patient flow.
Facilitates cross-site communication to share best practices, address operational challenges, and promote a unified approach to primary care service delivery.
Creates and enforces standardized procedures across clinics ensure high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
Engages with internal service lines, including Dental, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health/Psychiatry, to develop interdisciplinary care models for whole-person care.
Staff Leadership and Development
Provides leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to direct reports and clinical staff.
Oversees Supervisors in recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new clinical staff in standardized approach.
Works with Supervisors to conduct annual performance evaluations and develop individualized staff development plans.
Develops training programs for staff on compliance and efficiency.
Conducts regular meetings with Supervisors to review performance metrics and address workflow challenges.
PARTNERS WITH OPERATIONS LEADERSHIP TO SUPPORT STAFF TRAINING ON EVIDENCE-BASED BEST PRACTICES AND WORKFLOWS.
Quality Improvement and Compliance
Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives led by Clinical Safety and Quality RN Manager to achieve key performance indicators.
Ensures all clinics comply with all regulations, including those related to infection prevention, facility management, safety, and waste disposal.
Ensures clinics comply with federal, State, and local regulations, including HRSA, HIPAA, OSHA, DHCS, and CDPH through regular audits and procedure updates.
Works with Quality Assurance team to oversee the resolution of escalated patient complaints and incident reports, ensuring timely, professional responses per EDCHC’s policies, and analyze trends to prevent recurrence.
SUPPORTS STAFF TRAINING ON COMPLIANCE UPDATES AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROCESSES, COORDINATING WITH SUPERVISORS TO MAINTAIN CONSISTENT STANDARDS ACROSS CLINICS.
