Schedule & Call

• Work a Monday through Friday day shift (with flexibility)
• Including weekend calls and potential night calls on rotation to cover the expanding practice needs

Practice Setting

A newly created, dynamic hybrid position spanning inpatient rounding and outpatient acute care clinic environments.

Drive Clinical Excellence

• Partner directly with physicians to perform inpatient rounds, managing internal medicine/hospitalist medicine workloads, progressive care patients, and acute care scenarios.

Enhance Patient Access

• Conduct outpatient acute care visits at the north clinic, efficiently addressing immediate needs ranging from standard acute issues (colds, sore throats) to filling in for urgent clinical gaps.

Comprehensive Care Delivery

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, order and interpret vital diagnostic tests, and formulate targeted treatment and management paths.

Rigorous Documentation

• Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records within the Sunrise and Athena EMR systems in compliance with network standards.

The campus delivers advanced specialty care and 24/7 emergency services, supported by general and laparoscopic outpatient surgery, comprehensive medical imaging, physical therapy, and respiratory care. The facility features an expansive outpatient multi-specialty clinic that includes cardiology, dermatology, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, pain management, and pulmonary care services to support the regional community.

Minimum Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education: Master's degree of Nursing required.
