The facility is a ~500‑bed hospital/medical center, a Level I Trauma Center serving a population of approximately one million, with an integrated referral network and part of the Ascension health system.

Responsibilities

• Join an employed position within a busy, well‑respected practice supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of Ascension’s health system network.
• Work alongside an established team of Physicians and APPs in an outpatient setting.
• Act as a trusted educator and advisor, counseling patients and their caregivers on preventative health strategies, treatment options, and available support systems.
• Maintain precise, high‑standard documentation of all patient interactions and clinical processes, ensuring full alignment with specialty guidelines and network nursing policies.
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Licensed Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Master’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
