Position Overview
As a LPN or MA, you will need to be patient focused, organized, and comfortable working with patients and families while assisting both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides clinical support to providers by preparing patients for medical examinations and documenting key information into EHR system.
- Affixes to providers during examination and procedures.
- Performs clinical tasks such as administering medications, immunizations, diagnostic testing, and assisting with treatments under provider supervision.
- Executes essential skills, including blood pressure readings, EKGs, lab tests, vision tests, and specimen collection.
- Ensures timely patient care by rooming patients promptly and monitoring wait times.
- Prepares and cleans exam rooms. Maintains and sterilizes equipment, monitors tracking systems, and adheres to OSHA and infection control policies.
- Schedules referrals, manages phone messages, and coordinates prescription calls under provider guidance.
- Other duties as assigned, up to and including travel to other locations, that may be required.
Ideal Candidates
- Will have active LPN licensure or medical assistant school diploma/certification.
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience.
- BLS CPR Certification.

Physical Requirements
- Sitting in a normal seated position.

- Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
- Communication skills using the spoken word.
- Ability to see within normal parameters.
- Ability to hear within normal range.
- Ability to frequently move about.
