Overview

The organization provides comprehensive behavioral health services across eight counties: Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, Madison, Taylor, and Wakulla. Responsibilities

• Interview patients, obtain vital signs, prepare patients, and assist APRN with exams and/or treatment.
• Document care provided in accordance with unit procedures.
• Receive, document, and implement physician/APRN orders per unit procedures.
• Provide and document direct nursing care according to approved treatment plans and physician orders.
• Administer medication, verify patient identification using two identifiers, and document administration per agency procedures.
• Provide patient education (e.g., medication compliance, self‑care skills, health maintenance) in compliance with the treatment plan.
• Organize the outpatient clinic following physician/APRN guidance and direction.
• Stock and reconcile clinic supplies (e.g., syringes, sharps containers).
• Complete or coordinate processing of laboratory forms and review/file lab results per unit procedures.
• Notify physician/APRN of any abnormal findings.
• Ensure medication storage and disposal meet all required standards and policy.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
