Full-time position, 40 scheduled weekly hours, day shift (Monday – Friday, no holidays).
About the Role
In an outpatient Internal Medicine practice, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct care to adult patients (18 years and older) as part of a collaborative team. The practice focuses on preventative health maintenance, chronic and acute care needs. The LPN will work alongside Ambulatory Techs, RNs, Physicians, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a co-assigned RN or MD.
- Administer medications and vaccines.
- Perform minor laboratory testing.
- Communicate with patients and providers using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Participate in the plan of care, implement nursing interventions, and contribute to patient/family education.
- Collect and document patient data, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support enhancement of the care delivery system.
- Assist other staff members with implementing patient care as part of a team.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of direct nursing care experience preferred but not required.
- Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset and enjoyment of collaboration.
Pay
Compensation range: $26.75 - $36.11 per hour. Individual salaries will be determined based on factors including market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
