Primary Care Inbox Clinician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our primary care team in a unique, coverage-focused role. This position is designed to maintain continuity of care when primary care providers are out of the office by managing a reduced schedule of acute visits while also supporting clinical inbox responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide same-day and short-notice acute care visits across assigned primary care practices.
• Manage provider inboxes during both planned and unplanned absences, including reviewing and responding to patient messages, processing refill requests, and reviewing labs, imaging, and consult notes.
• Covering providers to ensure smooth, effective handoffs.
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to support continuity of care.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) license.

Skills

• Strong collaboration skills with nursing and administrative teams.
• Clear and consistent communication with covering providers.
