About the role
The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking clinician‑educators and academic clinicians to join the Primary Care Section of the Division of General Internal Medicine. Faculty will practice in an outpatient setting within a patient‑centered medical home serving over 20,000 diverse patients annually. The position offers opportunities for teaching, scholarship, and participation in cutting‑edge team‑based care, including integrated complex care, cancer survivor programs, and procedural skills such as wound care, joint injections, IUD placements, and cryotherapy. The affiliated Froedtert Hospital is a 500‑bed, Level I regional referral center.
Division of General Internal Medicine
The division is the largest of ten divisions within the Department of Medicine at MCW. Its mission encompasses patient care, medical education, research, and innovation, with a regional and national presence in comprehensive adult care. The division comprises four sections—Primary Care, Hospitalist Medicine, Perioperative and Consultative Medicine, and VA General Internal Medicine—and provides clinical services across inpatient, primary, and urgent care settings at Froedtert Hospital and the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Faculty are active leaders in professional societies, contribute to residency and clerkship leadership, and drive research aimed at improving clinical efficiency and patient education.
