About the role

The Primary Care Patient Care Medical Assistant (MA) works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care in a systematic way. The MA partners with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities are performed in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with primary care providers to deliver patient-centered care
  • Work as part of a clinical care team to achieve quality outcomes
  • Perform duties in alignment with Mercy’s mission and values

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must attend MA Clinic Academy training upon hire

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • One year of applicable patient care experience or medical office experience

Schedule

  • Full-Time – 40 hours per week
  • Day shift, Monday through Friday
