About the Role

As a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, you will work in collaboration with a physician in outpatient settings such as primary care offices or clinics (including family medicine, women's health, and internal medicine). This role involves performing minimally invasive procedures and generally working with a stable patient population.
Responsibilities
- Work under the direction and in consultation/collaboration with a physician.
- Assess and evaluate patients, conduct history and physical examinations (H&Ps), order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Assist in diagnostic and invasive procedures.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, write orders, and manage discharges.
- Promote quality outcomes and initiatives.
- Maintain a standard care arrangement (SCA) with a physician in a like practice and notify the Ohio Board of Nursing as required.
- Practice within applicable state laws, appropriate boards, and in accordance with your standard care arrangement and delineation of privileges.
- As part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO), focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in performing job duties.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree (Required).
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANP or CNP).
- Certificate of Authority as CNS (COA) from the State of Ohio.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Field of Study: Nursing.
- 3 to 5 years of experience.

- Work Shift: Day.
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40.
