Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance actuarial pricing tools for multiple products and lines of business.
- Refine and optimize pricing methodologies to improve profitability and competitiveness.
- Create compelling dashboards to track and monitor the performance of the business.
- Build presentations to communicate the business’s story to internal stakeholders and external reinsurers.
- Leverage Palantir, Python, SQL (and advanced Excel) to streamline processes, automate tasks, and extract actionable insights.
- Data exploration: Work with large, complex datasets to identify trends, emerging exposures, and business opportunities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Engage underwriters, claims professionals, program teams, and reinsurance brokers to translate technical analyses into clear business recommendations.
- Process improvement: Proactively identify and implement efficiency gains across the actuarial workflow.
Qualifications
- ACAS credential with 5-10 years of P&C pricing experience.
- Solid track record in actuarial pricing, indications, and data analysis.
- Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for both modeling and automation.
- Advanced Excel skills (including VBA or macros) to complement your coding toolkit.
- Excellent communicator—skilled at distilling complex analyses into clear business insights.
- Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Technology-driven mindset with a passion for modernizing actuarial workflows.
Pay
The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
