About the role

Join Hitachi Energy as a Pricing Specialist – High Voltage Products (Americas) and play a key role in shaping pricing strategies that drive growth, profitability, and market competitiveness across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for make-to-stock, configurable, and engineered-to-order high voltage products.
• Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer value drivers to optimize pricing decisions.
• Establish pricing for make-to-stock, configurable, and engineered-to-order product offerings.
• Partner with product marketing teams to understand cost structures, product specifications, and market opportunities.
• Support pricing governance activities by monitoring pricing recommendations and evaluating pricing exceptions.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing models, tools, databases, and reporting processes.
• Maintain pricing performance, profitability, and revenue impact, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Present pricing performance updates to leadership and lead strategic pricing reviews with product groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in pricing management, ideally within the high voltage electrical switchgear industry.
• Experience pricing configurable and engineered-to-order products.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency with pricing and business intelligence tools such as Excel, SAP, and Power BI.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
