Pricing Manager

Job Summary Compensation: $111,700 - $158,611 The Pricing Manager will lead the development, execution, and governance of pricing strategies across IDI’s business. This role is responsible for optimizing margin, driving price discipline, managing the pricing operations team, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The Pricing Manager will partner closely with Sales and Finance to implement scalable pricing frameworks, improve margins, and increase market share. Responsibilities/Duties Pricing Strategy & Governance:Develop and execute enterprise pricing strategy aligned with margin and growth goalsDefine pricing guardrails, policies, and workflows across customer segments and productsManage the pricing operations team and ensure that SAP pricing is accurate and updatedLead price increase processes, including timing, segmentation, and communicationSales Enablement & Execution:Partner with Sales leadership to drive adoption of pricing strategies and toolsSupport key customer negotiations with data-backed pricing recommendationsDevelop training programs and materials to improve pricing capabilitiesMonitor adherence to pricing policies and escalate exceptions as neededAnalytics & Insights:Build and manage pricing analytics: margin waterfall, price realization, and variance analysisDevelop customer and product segmentation models to inform pricing decisionsIdentify margin leakage and pricing opportunities through transaction-level analysisProcess Improvement and Documentation:Document pricing processes, methodologies, and governance frameworksContinuously streamline and automate pricing and costing processesIdentify and implement continuous improvement in pricing workflows and systems Leadership Competencies Leads SelfCollaboratesCommunicates Effectively & CandidlyDrives for ResultsDemonstrates AccountabilityTakes InitiativeLeads OthersSelects Top TalentDevelops OthersThinks StrategicallyBuilds a Strong Culture Qualifications/Skills Technical Proficiency:Understanding of distribution, building materials, or insulation markets preferredKnowledge of customer dynamics, competitive pricing environments, and cost driversExperience with AI enabled pricing tools and analyticsCommunication Skills:Skilled at presenting insights and recommendations to executive audiencesAbility to guide discussions with cross-functional stakeholders, particularly Sales leadershipPricing & Analytical Expertise:Strong understanding of pricing strategy, margin management, and commercial analyticsExperience with segmentation, elasticity concepts, and price optimization approaches Education And/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field5–8+ years of experience in pricing, FP&A, analytics, or commercial financeExperience in distribution, manufacturing, or building materials preferred One of the core values at IDI is Family, and it shows in our benefits!
