Responsibilities

• Responsible for understanding the business strategy and objectives and applying to the financial planning and analyses of competitive pricing gap analysis, store tiering, price architecture, and elasticity measurements.
• Coordination and communication of planning and analyses with other departments including the Menu Strategy and Marketing Departments for efficient processes.
• Responsible for researching, communicating, publishing and maintaining financial planning and analysis reports for senior management as required.
• Responsible for understanding and utilizing the current system applications to analyze, manipulate and model data efficiently and effectively.
• Uses financial knowledge and understanding of the business to provide structured processes and analyses.
• Able to recommend value creating strategies and decisions through the intelligent application of well established tools and techniques.
• Provide functional and project leadership and development of personnel.
• Serve as additional resource for all areas of the department.
• Complete ad hoc analyses and reports as requested.
• Provide financial/operational support as requested by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Skills

• Excellent oral, written, presentation and time-management skills.
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (with strong emphasis on Excel and database skills).
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Solid mathematical skills and very logical approach to problem solving.
• Knowledge of financial analyses, budgeting/planning and forecasting concepts and processes.
• Knowledge of restaurant and/or retail
