Pricing Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of timely, accurate, and compliant cost and business proposals.
• Review requests for proposals and related documents to identify pricing requirements, evaluation criteria, submission instructions, compliance considerations, and key assumptions.
• Aid in building, maintaining, and quality-checking pricing models, including labor, other direct costs, travel, subcontractor costs, indirect rates, fees, and escalation assumptions.
• Analyze cost inputs from operations, subcontractors, finance, contracts, and other stakeholders to support complete, clear, and defensible pricing submissions.
• Document pricing assumptions, methodologies, and supporting rationale.
• Prepare financial analyses, scenario comparisons, and pricing summaries.
• Contribute to improving pricing templates, tools, quality controls, and processes.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data organization, workbook review, and learning pricing models.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines.
• Interest in cost estimation, pricing, financial analysis, business operations, government consulting, or government contracting.
• Ability to work core hours M-F 9am – 5pm EST.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government contracting, proposal development, professional services pricing, cost accounting principles, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation.
• Experience using other Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to balance multiple assignments, competing priorities, and tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ask thoughtful questions, and resolve issues constructively.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to grow within pricing, finance, proposal development, or government contracting.
