Pricing and Product Strategy Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Support and carry out a diverse range of assignments, projects, and activities to drive the performance of the Texas Pricing and Product Strategy team.
  • Support acquisition campaigns, complete special projects, and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related degree
  • 2+ years of experience in market planning in the consumer services industry or energy/electricity sector

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop prospect segmentation and targeting strategies to support acquisition pricing campaigns.
  • Aid in the development and execution of acquisition pricing, products, and customer offers.
  • Maintain monitoring, analysis, and interpretation of key performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the creation and upkeep of reporting dashboards that offer actionable business insights.
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to inform pricing decisions and business recommendations.
  • Query data and join tables using Microsoft Excel, Access, and related analytical tools.
  • Communicate key performance indicators and business results to management and stakeholders through clear, concise presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in leading efforts to implement effective solutions.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while adapting quickly to new information, challenges, and business needs.

Additional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, Tableau, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and accountability in meeting business needs.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Prioritizes delivering projects on time while working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Communicates effectively with a wide range of audiences through clear written and verbal communication.
  • Facilitates meetings, identifies key stakeholders, sets agendas, and follows up on action items and next steps.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities.

Working Conditions

  • Open office environment
  • Houston, TX
  • 4 days onsite, Fridays are remote
  • Additional work hours required for urgent requests
