About the role
The Pricing Analyst III develops accurate, compliant cost estimates for pricing and collaborates with Business Development/Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Senior Management to create pricing strategies that meet the company’s goals for customer satisfaction and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Review pricing requirements of Requests for Proposals and customer requests for contract modifications; participate in development of a pricing strategy.
- Review all elements of cost (direct labor, material, ODC, and indirect costs) to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Frontgrade procedures.
- Prepare cost proposals timely and accurately in accordance with FAR 15-408 Table 15-2 and all regulatory and compliance requirements, including TINA, FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
- Collaborate with functional departments to coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements.
- Research and analyze historical data and develop cost models to support proposal efforts.
- Assist with the development of intelligence-based pricing standards, strategies, and best practices; integrate them throughout the organization and ensure all departments are aware of and utilize them.
- Utilize MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel) and other pricing tools as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
- Nine (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Three (3) years of experience may be considered with a Master’s degree.
