Pricing Analyst, Energy Vertical
Overview
The Pricing Analyst, Energy Vertical will perform pricing and market analysis for AIT's ocean and air quotes products in order to optimize profit and meet marketing financial and growth objectives. This role will assist with RFQs, Tenders, BIDS and market updates, along with coaching international operations on all air offerings as needed.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison with the internal customer in solving problems related to ocean / air shipments and service
- Provides clear communication link between AIT, IC and ocean / air carriers and foreign offices
- Prepares and puts all quotes into Cargo Wise
- Works in conjunction with the air and ocean product lead to provide most competitive solution design for the client
- Negotiates and gets spot rates and/or establishes contract rates for specific origin and destination pairs
- Designs and rolls out effective air trade lane programs for overseas agents/offices as well as building relationships with internal offices and sales departments
- Provides regular performance reports to management team
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- 5+ years Experience in Pricing Analytics (Required)
- Energy and/or oil & gas sector logistics experience required
- Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Computer Skills (basic, knowledgeable, advanced): Needs to be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
