Role and Responsibilities
- Deliver short- and long-term projects that support the business strategy.
- Set, update and maintain OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and customer pricing in company systems and databases.
- Daily monitoring of key metrics to ensure optimal pricing to drive sales performance and profitability, in line with company targets.
- Collaborate with Sales and Purchasing to develop and refine pricing strategies for your sales channels and product categories.
- Develop and enhance market analysis skills to identify market trends and recommend price changes to meet designated profit margins and remain competitive.
- Participate general sales and contract pricing reviews.
- Resolve basic or moderately complex pricing discrepancies, ensuring accurate information on part numbers, descriptions, pricing or other maintenance items in the ERP system and other company databases.
- Prepare monthly reports & analysis for the management for your designated business area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university OR a minimum of 2 years' work experience performing substantially similar functions with expertise in reading and interpreting pricing information.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and standard office tools.
- Able to independently analyze data, propose opportunities for improvement and implement them.
- Proficient problem solving and/or troubleshooting competency in resolving pricing questions of high complexity.
- Strategic mindset with ability to apply departmental and company pricing rules, regulations and standards in performance of essential functions.
- Demonstrate proficient knowledge in sales processes and strategies.
Qualifications
- Material handling and/or industrial parts pricing experience preferred.
