Pricing Analyst

About the role

The Pricing Analyst will play a crucial role in creating, maintaining, and auditing all customer pricing records within internal systems. They will also analyze pricing and sales data, collaborate with various teams to develop pricing strategies, and ensure all pricing agreements are properly documented.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and audit all customer pricing records within internal systems.
• Analyze pricing and sales data using tools such as Phocas and Pricing AI to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop pricing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Made informed pricing decisions based on AI-driven recommendations, historical data, and market feedback.
• Partner with branch contacts and vendors to establish and update special pricing agreements.
• Ensure all pricing agreements are properly documented, scanned, and indexed for easy reference.
• Provide support and guidance to internal teams regarding pricing structures and system functionality.
• Monitor pricing performance and recommend adjustments to improve margin and competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and pricing software (e.g., Phocas, Pricing AI).
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and effectively.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
