Pricing Analyst
About the role
Barfield is a prestigious subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering, seeking a dedicated Pricing Analyst to join their team.
Responsibilities
Support the Pricing department by performing cost analysis to understand repair costs for specific components and technologies.
Update and enrich the cost database, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
Analyze past RFPs and market data to estimate market levels and ensure competitiveness of pricing.
Lead the RFP process, validating and responding to requests in a timely manner.
Understand and apply customer profiles, existing contracts, OEM terms, restrictions, sales strategies, and technical requirements when providing prices.
Prepare and review price proposals, ensuring compliance with RFP conditions.
Perform risk assessments and conduct Win/Loss analysis on RFPs.
Communicate with various departments (Sales, Production, Purchasing, Asset Management) to ensure alignment with RFP specifications.
Present defined pricing and hypotheses to management for validation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, economics, or business administration with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Technical knowledge of components and the aviation industry.
Expertise in Excel, Access, and SQL, with VBA proficiency preferred.
Strong analytical skills with large data, databases, and queries.
Detailed orientation, motivation, curiosity, proactivity, and organization.
Ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and manage multiple analyses simultaneously.
Good teamwork and communication skills, capable of presenting to high-level management.
Experience in project management.
Able to work remotely and in the office.
