Price Chopper Night Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work within to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Responsible for proper handling and merchandising of all products according to company policy.
• Display and express a complete knowledge of all products to the customer.
• Smile, make eye contact and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
• Oversee the entire Third Shift store operation.
• Oversee shelf conditions, proper stock levels, properly leveling and blocking product, and ensure that all out-of-stock signs are hung.
• Schedule all Night Crew Associates.
• Manage Front End and Office operations, including check approvals, nightly resets, etc.
• Order all merchandise and supplies for the Grocery Department and meet transmission times. Store excess product in Back Room or designated area.
• Maintain proper merchandising standards (shelf allocation and sale items) and ensure excess product is in compliance with corporate guidelines.
• Hire, train, and develop all new Night Crew Associates in grocery operations.
• Discipline or recommend discipline of all Night Crew Associates according to company policy.
• Implement and maintain all corporate and state sanitation and pricing procedures.
• Evaluate the performance and progress of Store Associates.
• Achieve and maintain productivity measures for 3rd Shift Grocery Crew.
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Unload warehouse and DSD merchandise deliveries.
• Evaluate the performance and progress of Store Associates.
• Achieve and maintain productivity measures for 3rd Shift Grocery Crew.
