PRI AR Billing Representative II (Must Have Insurance Denials Exp)

A medical device company seeks a PRI AR Billing Representative II with experience in processing medical billing claims, collecting payments, and resolving payer issues.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and rectify payment denials with payers or patients
• Handle inbound and outbound calls from and to customers, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance providers
• Write responses to audit requests and gather necessary documentation
• Document and track billing and payment processes for future reference
• Answer billing-related questions from patients and complete monthly reports as needed
• Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned
• Maintain a positive work environment and exceed production targets

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two to four years of medical supply billing experience
• One to three years of AR Billing Representative I experience
• Intermediate math skills
• Advanced analytical reasoning
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and call center telecommunications software
