Preventive Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment to maximize uptime.
• Maintain and service critical support equipment including thermolators, chillers, material dryers, loaders, blenders, and granulators.
• Diagnose and perform basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Collaborate with technicians on equipment installations, continuous improvement projects, and upgrades.
• Accurately document all PM activities, parts used, and work orders within our digital maintenance tracking system (Maximo).
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment (5S) and strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (experience in an injection molding environment is highly preferred).
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Ability to read basic blueprints or schematics. Familiarity with material handling and auxiliary equipment (preferred).
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a proactive attitude.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and safely navigate a bustling manufacturing floor.
