Responsibilities

  • Performs inspections and preventative maintenance on building and production machinery and equipment, including but not limited to compressors, pumps, motors, gear drives, welders positioners, power rolls, cranes, hoists, manual/CNC lathes, manual/CNC drills/machining centers, grinding machines, drill sharpeners, spray painting systems, shot/sandblasters, oil flush systems, oil test systems, tube cutters, presses, lighting systems, dust collectors, shears, burning machines, saws, tube expanders, conveyor systems, fork trucks, and other lifting equipment.
  • Performs minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, cleaning and replacing filters, adding grease or oil, repairing/replacing electrical cords and air/gas lines.
  • Performs operational checks of the above equipment (with the exception of CNC equipment, welders, burning machines, and shot blasters unless the individual has working knowledge of the specific pieces).
  • Makes repairs on pneumatic type tools.
  • Assists other maintenance department classifications as needed.
  • Performs snow plowing/removal using company‑supplied equipment.
  • Salts or de‑ices parking lots and sidewalks as required.
  • Can be utilized to perform facilities maintenance duties to cover vacation or other necessary absences.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Some experience required in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., regularly engage in climbing and working from heights.
  • Must possess necessary standard tools (wrenches, sockets, pliers, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.).

Pay

Starting wage $28.38/hour, with incremental increases to $30.76 after one year.
