About the role
Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations. Wears and enforces proper personal protective equipment. Manages Preventative Maintenance (PM) operations using systems such as PM Due Report, EMT, and DBS to assign work, track progress, and ensure timely completion of PM Services. Supports PM Technicians and customers to optimize scheduling and efficiency. Handles service calls with professionalism and urgency, providing accurate and timely PM Checklists upon completion.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes PM Due Report, EMT, DBS, and other systems to assign work to PM Technicians.
- Assists PM Technicians and customers in determining optimal scheduling for equipment and services.
- Monitors and adjusts work status to ensure PM Services are completed within scheduled intervals efficiently.
- Handles service calls from external and internal customers with professionalism and urgency.
- Follows up with customers by providing accurate and timely PM Checklists upon service completion.
- Manages Preventative Maintenance operations and work orders using Dealer Business System (DBS) menus.
- Supports PM Technicians to ensure successful and accurate management of the end-to-end work order process.
- Maintains the appearance, condition, and upkeep of technicians, equipment, tooling, and trucks per company guidelines.
- Ensures vehicle and tooling inspections and maintenance are completed accurately.
- Schedules and conducts Safety Meetings on relevant topics, documenting and saving attendee lists.
- Leads the development of Preventative Maintenance Technicians through coaching and formal performance reviews.
- Supports the selection and hiring of PM technicians and trainees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 5-6 years of relevant experience.
- Able to comprehend written material and communicate effectively with employees and customers.
- Proficient in the use of computers, Microsoft Office products, and relevant Dealer software programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in service management.
- Successfully completed relevant leadership courses.
