Preventive Functional Family Therapy Case Aide (Orange County)
About the role
The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive to empower children and families to achieve optimal health and well-being. We are currently seeking a full-time Preventive Functional Family Therapy Case Aide at our Community Based Services Program.
Responsibilities
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am-7pm (Saturday-Sunday OFF), with rotating on call responsibilities
- Provide supportive case management services to families in the Orange County Preventive Program to enhance the clinical service provision
- Direct case management services to children and families including but not limited to: risk assessment and goal setting, data collection, transportation, and community referrals as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with 2 years experience
- Experience working with children and families
- Valid NYS Driver License in good condition as determined by the Agency
- Must complete and pass a pre-employment physical, PPD and drug screen and an annual physical and PPD
Skills
PREFERRED Qualifications: Previous experience in preventive service provision, Knowledge of Connections Statewide Database, Previous experience in preventive service provision, Knowledge of Connections Statewide Database
