Responsibilities
- Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment and vehicles.
- Adheres to all safety rules and maintains good housekeeping (5S) in shop area and service truck.
- Completes assigned work orders.
- Maintains assigned company vehicle for field work.
- Reports all defects of equipment and vehicles.
- Ensures equipment meets DOT regulatory standards and company standards.
- Meets all safety requirements (including toolbox talks, man lift inspections, submitting incident reports, Lockout/Tag out, PPE, etc.).
- Collects oil samples and fills out paperwork.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Exhibits good problem solving skills; is able to identify problems, solicit other’s opinions and offer valid solutions.
- Interprets and applies policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Be able to communicate with all positions of the workforce.
- Exhibit honesty and trustworthiness.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient use of computer software, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Experience with Asphalt & Concrete Construction Operations is a plus.
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) is required.
- 2-4 years of mechanical experience, or in a related field.
- Experience with heavy equipment is required.
- High School Diploma.
