About the role
The Preventive Maintenance Manager is responsible for performing, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of preventive and predictive maintenance to protect and maintain the buildings, equipment, and facilities, in an efficient, cost effective, and expedient manner.
Responsibilities
- Schedules, inventory, and manages all matters related to preventive maintenance.
- Establishes routine and preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and buildings.
- Maintains equipment and the facility in satisfactory operating condition by providing systematic inspection, detection, and correction of potential failures.
- Oversees the operation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, pumps, compressors, industrial laundry, boilers, desalination, fire and life safety equipment, lighting, emergency generator, trash compactors, household appliances, industrial kitchens, and all facilities equipment.
- Performs major repairs as a preventative measure to prevent equipment failures or breakdowns.
- Provides direction to subordinates through hands-on assistance, guidance, support, and development.
- Supervises nighttime or weekend repairs and maintenance that cannot be completed during typical workday.
- Provides excellent customer service to residents.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of plant operations and engineering.
- Experience with construction and working with subcontractors preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in plant engineering and/or trades such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, refrigeration, ground maintenance, masonry, and facility maintenance.
- 2-3 years of mid-level management experience.
- Knowledge of State & federal regulations, Title 22, and NFPA 101: Life Safety Code is preferred.
- Strong organizational, written, computer, and verbal communication skills.
- A passion and history of providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications

Pay
$80,000 - $85,000 per year plus 10% annual bonus potential.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, Full-time.
