Preventative Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Preventative Maintenance Engineer to support the overall upkeep and functionality of our property. This role includes performing routine maintenance, addressing guest requests, and ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, basic knowledge of building systems, and a commitment to providing a safe and well-maintained environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnosing and fixing issues, and assisting with upgrades and installations
• PM rooms and make small repairs, paint touch up and that type of stuff
• Help monitor the equipment, i.e. AC and the Boiler
• Report to the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer

Qualifications

• No educational minimum is required
• Previous experience in a similar or related position
• Hotel experience is always a plus!

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
