Are you someone who likes to stay one step ahead, ensuring everything runs smoothly long before issues appear? We are seeking a dedicated Preventative Maintenance Technician to help keep our property operating safely, efficiently, and reliably through routine inspections and proactive care.

Responsibilities
- Support hotel operations by identifying and addressing maintenance needs early, helping preserve equipment life and prevent unexpected downtime
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance across building systems and guest-facing areas
- Inspect, test, and service equipment including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical components
- Document inspections, repairs, and performance trends for engineering leadership
- Identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions
- Keep equipment, tools, and work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Absorb minor repairs as needed to support overall engineering operations
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be able to perform basic math
- 3 to 4 years previous experience as a general repairman preferred
- Ability to use all general repair tools
- Ability to read simple drawings and specifications
- Ability to make rough estimates of required materials
- Ability to recognize early warning signs of mechanical issues and take corrective action
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A team-first attitude and a commitment to consistent, high-quality work
- Availability to work mornings Monday through Friday, including weekends or holidays as needed
Qualifications
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and efficiency

- Basic math skills
