Prevailing Wage Compliance Administrator
Role Summary
The Prevailing Wage Compliance Administrator supports compliance on federally funded and public works projects within the organization. This role will audit certified payroll submissions from both internal JE Dunn employees and Trade Partners to ensure compliance with prevailing wage law including Davis-Bacon Act and other federal and state regulations.

Key Role Responsibilities
- Core Audits certified payroll reports for completeness, accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
- Verifies worker classifications, wage rates, fringe benefits, apprenticeship status and hours worked
- Manages conformance requests and ensures proper documentation is collected and provided as requested
- Ensures JE Dunn and subcontractor compliance throughout the lifecycle of the project, from set-up to close-out
- Communicates with subcontractors to resolve discrepancies
- Maintains organized records of payroll submissions and correspondence
- Prepares and submits compliance reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitors wage determinations and updates internal systems as needed
- Conducts internal audits of prevailing wage documentation to identify risks
- Attends Department of Labor Wage and Hour trainings and assists with DOL audits and investigations
- Utilizes dashboards and other tools to track compliance tasks
- Ensures proper application of prevailing wage, union and fringe benefit requirements
- Communicates non-compliance issues and recommends corrective action to leadership
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
- Knowledge of prevailing wage laws and certified payroll requirements
- Strong knowledge of Wage and Hour compliance involving the Fair Labor Standards Act, federal and state statutes, and state wage and hour laws and regulations including but not limited to: US Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division
- Extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, internal controls, payroll taxes, and wage and hour compliance
- Thorough ability to analyze laws and regulations and to apply requirements to existing business practices
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and enhance compliance with legal requirements, company policies, procedures, and directives
- Communication skills, verbal and written - Intermediate
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to understand and implement best practice standards
- Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems

- Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 2 year / Associate’s Degree (Preferred)
Experience
- 0-2 years administrative support experience (Preferred)
