About The Job

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Presser to join our production team. This position is responsible for pressing and finishing garments throughout various stages of production to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate industrial steam presses, irons, and related pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Press garment components and finished garments according to production specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect garments for wrinkles, puckering, stains, and other defects before and after pressing.
• Ensure proper shaping and finishing of garments to achieve a professional appearance.
• Maintain production quotas while meeting quality expectations.
• Handle garments carefully to prevent damage during the pressing process.
• Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or production problems to the supervisor.
• Follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Absorb and assist with other production-related duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

• Previous garment pressing, tailoring, dry-cleaning, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using industrial pressing machines is strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

• Frequent use of hands and repetitive hand motions

Benefits

The starting salary for this position is $15.50 – $17.50 and may increase to $20.75 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
