Press Operator (Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials)
Job Summary
We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Press Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality products by operating press equipment, following safety and quality standards, and supporting daily production goals. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and being part of a team, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate press equipment to support daily production
- Set up and prepare molds by:
- Cleaning (scraping/vacuuming)
- Applying mold release
- Loading and leveling molds
- Use overhead cranes and scales to move materials
- Follow Manufacturing Orders (MO), including materials and step-by-step instructions
- Perform quality checks using measurement tools to ensure products meet specifications
- Operate additional equipment such as press saws, as needed
- Use a forklift to move and stage materials (training/certification required)
- Keep your work area clean and organized (5S / housekeeping)
- Enter basic production information into the system (Movex)
- Stay on schedule and help meet production goals
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing or hands-on work experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety mindset
- Ability to use basic measurement tools
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Team player with good communication skills
- Quality inspection experience
- Forklift and/or saw operation experience
Pay Transparency
The salary for this position is $21.83. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
