Press Operator, Flexo - C Shift

About the Role

The Press Operator, Flexographic is responsible for running flexographic machines that produce quality printed materials for prescription packaging. Operators are responsible for completing periodic paperwork and machine/product checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and operate any assigned flexographic machines and tooling
• Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times: bump caps, hair/beard net, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes
• Operate machine controls, programs, and associated equipment to ensure parts and prints are produced at maximum efficiency and to the highest quality standards
• Make machinery/equipment adjustments as needed (dislodging jams, controlling speed, product size, etc.)
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance
• Assist co-operators as needed with various tasks
• Operate tape guns to seal boxes ready for shipment
• Secure labels onto boxes
• Maintain a clean/safe work area
• Sort rejected product to determine quality errors

Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years Manufacturing Experience (preferred)
• High School Degree or Equivalent
