About the role
Marlboro Manufacturing, a leader in continuous hinge manufacturing, is seeking full-time candidates to join their team.
Working Hours
10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, with some overtime on Friday as required.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Safety conscious and follows safety rules
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Basic computer and math skills
- Absenteeism is key
- Passes drug and alcohol testing
Qualifications
- Able to bend and stand to operate machines
- Able to carry out instructions and training both in written or verbal form
- Shows ability to use measuring tools, tape measure, calipers
- Able to set up machines or learn to do so
- Able to write legibly
- Assists in problem solving
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating papers, blueprints
- Has prior machine skills and knowledge of hand tools (helpful)
- Able to reach department-wide production goals
- Able to work with others
- Able to troubleshoot machines for malfunctions or irregularities, fix machine parts as needed to ensure they operate properly, and conduct quality checks on parts
