About the role

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading mailing and printing services company in Saint Cloud, MN. This role is available for temporary or contract positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced press operators with setting up commercial web printing presses and loading large paper rolls
• Monitor print production by checking ink, water, and paper levels while making basic machine adjustments as directed
• Inspect printed materials for color consistency and print quality, pulling samples at scheduled intervals
• Support machine changeovers, clean printing equipment, and maintain an organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment, and report any hazards or equipment concerns
• Participate in hands-on training to develop the skills needed to independently operate commercial web printing presses

Requirements

• No previous printing experience required; mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential
• Ability to understand simple written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift while frequently bending, reaching, and crawling
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and safely perform physical tasks in a production environment
• Good close, distance, and peripheral vision to monitor fast-moving printing equipment
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality work while following safety standards
