ResponsibilitiesAssist lead press operator with setup of feeder end, including setting rails, brushes, wheels, double sheet detector, and loading stock.Prepare and hang plates, assist with blanket washing and back cylinder cleaning.Pre-load feeder continuously to enable quick pile changes during press runs.Collaborate with press operator to gather job tickets, plate files, color proofs, and necessary inks.Mix inks if necessary, prepare ink units, and maintain ink levels during production runs.Perform routine press maintenance and assist other press operators with paper handling as needed.Follow all safety policies, procedures, and good housekeeping practices.Other duties as assigned. Requirements Critical Skills & Experience:High school diploma or GED required; trade or vocational school preferred.1-2 years of production or press-related experience preferred.Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday. Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, twist, stoop, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to safely work around moving machinery and production equipment. Ability to maintain visual attention to detail and product quality.
