Press Brake Operator: Level 2 (Experienced)

What You Will Do

• Operate Accurpress or Bystronic press brakes to produce sheet metal parts.
• Follow setup sheets and job travelers to run parts accurately.
• Perform basic setups including installing tooling and adjusting gauges using both setup sheets and loaded programs.
• Load and unload material with or without assistance.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures.
• Read blueprints and specifications to verify part dimensions.
• Alert quality and management if a part is out of tolerance.
• Identify raw material defects that may affect forming.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

What We Are Looking For

• 2–5 years experience operating press brakes of any brand.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and job travelers.
• Familiarity with sheet metal forming processes.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Arm and hand mobility required.
• Ability to lift to 40 pounds intermittently.
