Press Brake Operator

About the role

Operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components according to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders with high accuracy
• Review bills of materials to verify material types, thicknesses, and precise measurements
• Inspect incoming material and finished parts to ensure rigid quality standards are met
• Select, setup, and properly store tooling to maintain tool life and part quality
• Maintain a clean, organized work area aligned with Super Steel's 7S standards
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures, including basic preventive maintenance and equipment safety checks

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of press brake experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong mechanical aptitude, understanding of press brake operations, and experience using handheld and mechanical measuring tools
• Solid foundational math skills, including fractions and measurement conversions
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and use basic computer systems (Microsoft Office preferred)
