Press Brake Operator

About the role

Responsible for both machine set up and operation of a Bending Machine. Duties include changing tooling, using computer skills to upload jobs into the machine interface, performing first piece inspection, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Read computerized blueprints and drawings
• Perform precision forming, bending, and folding
• Use and read measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, protractor, and tape measure
• Perform basic addition and subtraction
• Bend a variety of metals including galvanized, steel, aluminum, and stainless
• Maintain a clean and safe working station

Requirements

• Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• At least 1 year’s experience as a Bender/Press Brake Operator
• Ability to stand for the duration of shift
• Experience operating Forklift and Overhead Cranes is a plus
• Must be willing to submit and pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
