About the role
We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to join a growing metal fabrication team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret customer and internal drawings accurately.
- Program, set up, and operate Bystronic or Accurpress Press Brakes.
- Inspect parts against blueprints using measuring devices such as height stands, calipers, and micrometers.
- Work efficiently on production while collaborating with engineering on prototyping projects.
- Maintain quality by adhering to tolerances and completing shop paperwork accurately.
- Perform daily 6S duties to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 1-year prior Press Brake experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and measurement tools.
- Ability to perform machine setups, tooling changes, and basic programming adjustments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work reliably with good attendance.
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED, forklift experience, ERP or manufacturing software knowledge, and experience in metal fabrication or contract manufacturing.
Additional Requirements

- Work well in a team and focus on safety and quality.
- Cross-training on additional fabrication equipment is a plus.
